Festivities take place in Murcia all year round. There is not even a single month that does not have some of the other festival taking place. This is a three-day festival featuring music, dance, medieval markets and games.
The town of Lorca rejoices while celebrating Holy Week each April. The celebrations include a lot of colorful processions that presents an opportunity to take a closer look at the town's religious traditions. The month of May makes the town of Cieza filled with crosses that are made from flowers in order to celebrate Dia de la Cruz.

San Javier also hosts a number of festivals in the month of December that features music, dance, theater, jazz, open-air dances, rice tasting tradition and Bull Run. In December tourists can also enjoy the festivities Dia de los Santos that takes place in Calasparra.
