Your visit to Spain will be incomplete if you do not visit Callosa de Segura. If you miss this place, perhaps you are missing the most beautiful town of Alicante province. Archaeological museum:

This museum has the record of the city starting from 3000 BC. It has the most interesting collection of facts and other records which give complete details of the city and the surroundings. Hermitage:

This is the Hermitage which has been built to honor Saint Roque of Collosa de Sequra. The work of construction of the Hermitage was carried out during 1579 to 1798. The hermitage has been built precisely at the place where Saint Roque had appeared. Just near to it is the Church of Saint Martin. Of course, you have to pass through narrow roads to reach this church. The most revered place in the church is the ‘Balcony of Vega Baja’. In this place, the visitor to the church asks for the help of the Saint. Saint’s feast is held during 12th to 16th of August every year. Just climb the mountain adjacent to this church. This place presents the most spectacular view of the places surrounding it. Just at the top of the mountain, there is another church.

Castle:

As you complete visiting the church at the top of the mountain adjacent to Saint Martin Church, you can also visit the castle located just by the side of the church. This is called the Castle of Callosa. According to archaeologists, the hermitage was built at the top of the mountain for the purpose of defense.

Singers of the Dawn:

This is one of the oldest male singing groups who are quite religious and they are the people who have great religious beliefs. These traditional singers conduct music during dawn every month on first Sunday and this group has been very popular throughout Spain.
