Architecture

The Museu d'Arqueologia de Catalunya, the Museu Maritim (covering maritime history) and the Museu Futbol Club that displays various sporting artifacts are worth visiting.
Culture
Barcelona hosts many popular festivals including Gracia’s Festa Major and the La Merce. A wide range of activities, events, performances and cultural exhibits are hosted by both the Centre de Cultura Contemporanea de Barcelona and the Caixa Forum. The very well known Ciutat Vella Flamenco Carnival is also hosted in the town.

Kids can also have a great time in Barcelona. You can take kids to the Cosmo Caixa which is an interactive science museum. The Museu de la Xocolata is a chocolate museum that really interests kids and is a popular attraction for them. The Parc Guell is another notable kid-friendly museum that has been designed by the famous architect Antoni Gaudi. Tibidabo Fun Fair that has at least 100-year-old tradition is also a great place to take kids. It is located over the hills that overlooks Barcelona.
